    Default Hampus Lindholm

One to keep an eye on. Collected his first NHL points tonight.

    Tonight: 2A, +4, 6SOG, 4:23 PP time.

I'd assume he's on PP2, since Vatanen (6:19) & Fowler (5:47) both logged more PP time yet each went pointless. If Lindholm keeps putting up numbers like this though, he'll force his way into more and more responsibility.

Love this kid. But I expect him to take his lumps for sure.

The good news is that he'll be 20 in January and is acclimating well to the N.A. game. I see him as a steady option on the 2nd pairing, e.g. 3rd d, who can play pretty well in all situations.

    Well,

    1)he's 19
2)played like 50 games total of North American hockey
3)it's very unlikely he'll be posting top D minutes this year, for that matter, he may spend part of the season in the AHL so...

I mean, it's possible but it's also possible for me to hit the powerball next week, buy an NHL team and rename it the Broken Clocks. Admittedly, the second half of that statement is a little bit less likely but...

I don't see him being a big pt producer. Hope for 25-30 pts maybe. He's more of a solid 2 way dman.

It's interesting to see people label him as more of a two way d man than a raw offensive talent. I remember reading his scouting report before he was drafted, and he was knocked for his subpar defensive positioning and praised for his skating ability and raw offensive upside. I know its early, but I feel like he's going to be a good one. He's got good size, he is a great skater and he seems like he sees and thinks the game well.

He was a fast riser in his draft year, and I think it was a shock to many that he went 6th overall. Definitely an interesting prospect, to say the least

He is the next Oliver-Ekman Larsson. Underrated offensive upside and already good in all zones.

Watching him tonight, I was thinking OEL or Brodin. Hard to imagine that he is just breaking into the league - looks like a vet out there. I am very impressed.

I like the kid a ton but remember, it's very possible to have one good year at 19 and go to shit. See Myers, Tyler; Fowler, Cam etc Gradual development is arguably to be preferred here.

He won't even have a great year this season, so I'm not sure what you mean.

Well, looks like he's quietly having a very decent year. 2 points tonight and now he's got 1g, 4a in 15 games with an impressive +13. Playing top pairing with the Bush-man, Hampus is here to stay.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
