    Default Lupul vs Voracek

Lupul is 30 and inury prone.
Voracek is 24, with a bright future, but it's not looking too good this season.
I generally always take the future of my team into account, but i also want to win this year, and I'm also worried that voracek's value will majorly plumet this year.

If you want to do this deal to win this year, then I'd wait until close the trade deadline to pull it off. But that point you'll see if Lupul will be playing closer to 20 games or 80 games this year. I just don't see the need to trade Voracek - at this point in the season - for an injury prone vet.

    Cheers!

Lupul is the better producer when healthy. I'd take him if you want to win now

This is assuming Lupul plays more than 60 games. He proves to be a PPG bandaid player. Voracek should play more than 60, and SHOULD get more than the 60 points. I'd hold on to Voracek and the Flyers smartening up.

Lupul won't help him win now unless he stays healthy.

Precisely why I wouldn't make this deal until close to the trading deadline.

If Lupul gets hurt, then this is an awful trade.

Why make it now when the same deal should be there later?

Idk you tell me....I didn't specify when he should take it. I just said Lupul is a better producer when healthy.

    Default Win now and later!

Anyway you look at this deal, the Voracek side wins. Slow starts are no reason to trade good players. Lupul is a good player, but he's is very injury prone as well. We have Voracek ranked higher this season and down the road as well. The Flyers offense will pick it up and the like of Voracek and Giroux will start to produce again. Those are our thoughts, good luck!
