Philadelphia Flyers winger Scott Hartnell left Friday's game against the Phoenix Coyotes with a lower-body injury and won't return.
It's a tough break for a power forward who is falling far. He struggled mightily in 2012-13 and hasn't scored a point in five games (four if you don't count tonight). It's unclear how serious the injury is, big-picture wise.

Holmgren says both Lecavalier and Hartnell will miss at least a week with their injuries. Now they say Hartnell is an upper-body, not lower.

I got him in the 15th round in a league that counts PIM and Hits. He seemed healthy and was moved to top line w/Giroux and PP1, but then... nothing. And now injured. Blech. I don't think Dubinsky is much of a downgrade, if he's one at all, so I won't lose any sleep.
When healthy, Dubi is definitely not a downgrade to Hartnell.
It wouldn't surprise me to hear Hartnell may be gone longer than a week too. I'm no doctor, but not very often do you hear the GM give a 'week' as an injury diagnosis right after a game.
