Question Where is my team weak?

10 Team H2H League, default Yahoo settings
Categories: G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, SHP, GWG, SOG, FW, HIT, BLK

Players (Including Bench - 2 slots per posistion, 4 for D)
    C: Stamkos, Toews, M. Koivu, Duchene (C/LW)
    LW: Semin (LW/RW), Benn, Pacioretty
    RW: Wheeler, Gaborik, Callahan
    D: Ekman-Larsson, Timonen, Mike Green
    G: Rinne, Quick, Schneider

Currently playing with 1 extra forward/1 less defenseman due to a trade. I can't justify dropping anyone for any available D.

Playing against a new group this year, looking to take it all. How does my team look?

i like that team a hell of a lot.

you are very weak on Defense, and you're probably pulling your hair out regarding your goalies right now, but your goalies will be better and your forwards are already great.

i'm not a fan of Timonen or Green. Green you keep as an extra guy to see if he works out, doesn't get injured, but you can't build your defense around him. i would consider replacing Timonen with an FA and attempting a trade with Green.

you need to drop a forward and i would go with Callahan without hesitation.

who are the top FA D in your league?

FA D: Faulk, Vlasic, Niskanen, Krug, Zidlicky, Gudas, Cowen, Wiercoch, Bieska, Barrie, Diaz, Hamilton.

Those are the top available imo. I like Faulk a lot. Wiercoch is a nice option, and I like the peripheral machine that is Gudas, but I'm not sure any of them are an upgrade on Timonen. Timonen placed top 10 in points for a defenseman last year. Green is a gamble, but I'm willing to place that bet for this year.

Callahan is definitely my most drop-able forward, but I'm afraid the second I drop him I'm glaringly weak on hits/blocks. I was thinking the solution here may be to pick up a Gudas type player on D for the sole purpose of padding those categories. I think I having scoring covered.

    What do you think?
