Anyone worried about the role of Goligoski in Dallas this year?

Gonchar seems to be running things from the Point on the powerplay and (very early I know) he hasn't looked all that impressive.

My league counts: G, A, +/-, SOG, HITS, PIMS and is a KEEPER so I'm considering dropping him for fellow Stars Dman Dillon, also available:

Bouwmeester, Zidlicky, Giordano, Krug, Barrie, Staal (getting heavy PP in New York), Trouba

Thoughts? What are people's expectations for Goligoski in Dallas this year?

My feeling is it's a tad early to panic with Goligoski [and this coming from a fellow owner]. You had to figure with all the personnel changes in DAL there was going to be an adjustment phase. I would respectfully suggest he is best pure points option of those you have pegged in your post and would recommend at least another 7-10 days before pulling the trigger.

Having said that, in a pool with all of those peripherals...Staal, Bouwmeester and Giordano all have respectable value even if they only point around 35. You shouldn't go too far wrong with any of these.

He's signed there for a while and had a pretty decent year last season. Gonchar might not exactly help but they're not going to completely leave him in the dust when it comes to giving him his offensive opportunities. Hold tight for now.

Rather than make a new thread, figured to continue it in here.

It has only been 5 games but in those 5 games he has 2 PIM, 6 SOG, and is a -5. I haven't been able to watch but it looks like he is getting the minutes at just over 20 mins a game. Should I keep holding or move on?

    Thanks!
