    Default Ehrhoff vs Garrison

Pts keeper that counts G, A, +/-, PIMs.
I can grab one or the other in a trade and Ehrhoff would seem as the obvious choice as he actually does well in all categories and has history to prove it even in BUF. But Garrison has been showing improvement in getting the points and PIMs and as generally a solid + player. He also may finally play a big part in VANs PP.

Who would you take? Full disclaimer: I can take Ehrhoff by himself OR take Garrison along with a 2nd round pick....

What can you typically get with a 2nd round pick?

PiMs is probably a wash, but I'd +/- should be in favour of Garrison.

Buffalo is such a train wreck I'd probably take Garrison and the 2nd round pick, although you haven't given a sense how valuable those picks are in your league?

I really do like Ehrhoff as a player...but Buffalo is going to be absolutely brutal this year.

It would be a 2015 2nd rounder which has good value. I had two 2nd rounders for 2013 which I used on Bennett and Hertl. The added 2nd rounder is a big plus but I'm also trying to measure the merits of Erhoff and Garisson one on one as I'm competing this year and have a good chance to win. So I have strong interest to grab the guy who can help the most this year.

Erhoff is solid, even on buf (somehow)...

That said, I would take this deal straight up, the fact you get a draft pick is icing on the cake.

Garrison is now on pp#1 and is the shot man, which I Thiught was gonna happen last year but was a year delayed.

Get the deal done before the other guy changes his mind.

Yeah, I'd definitely go Garrison and the 2nd round pick then...

I was leaning Garrison straight up....but the 2nd round pick is just icing on the cake...

I would have taken Garrison straight up...can't see Ehrhoff beating him in any category now that he's being used like he was supposed to have been last year.
The 2nd round pick just makes it all that much sweeter.
