    Default Selling high on Vrbata...

Should I sell high on these 3? Vrbata started with a hatty and Carter and Marleau each with a goal.

I'm looking to package some combination of (or all 3) Vrbata, Carter, and Marleau to get a superstar back.

Who should I target...Backstrom, Malkin, Giroux?

I know it's early but it'd be great to get quality over quantity right now?

In an 8 team league there's no way that package lands you any of those mentioned. You need to remember he would have to drop 2 players also. In a deep league that trade might make sense for the other gm. All three of those guys you're offering are upper tier depth forwards.

Edit: What I mean by depth forwards is he likely has forwards with similar upside he would need to drop making the trade very lopsided.

I'm convinced that if Vrbats got a new face he'd get more fantasy respect.

+1. You can make the offer, but I doubt you'll get any takers...

The problem with Vrbata (as mentioned above) is that doesn't have a power name. He'll contribute (remember, he's in a contract year as well) under the radar. Chances are he won't provide much leverage in trade talks. You're better off holding onto him, IMO. Vrbata owner here, lol.

nobody's gonna give you a superstar for that package (at least not in any league I'm in that wouldn't fly) but if you can get that kind of return on them for sure give it a whirl. Vrbata is actually a decent guy to own though, he should get you 55-65 pts this season, as the other guys have mentioned he is not flashy so he goes under the radar in many leagues, but he definitely produces

He doesn't carry the name to make a splash in a trade, but as others have said, he's definitely worth holding onto this year due to his already consistent production, coupled with the fact that he's going into what could be his biggest, and possibly last, contract year... He already told the Yotes he's not interested in negotiating a contract until after the season ends, so he's all systems go to make this a huge year for himself to cash in on that upcoming contract!

And he got the Hat trick without the help of Ribeiro! Imagine if they land on the same line?
