    Agreed!

Especially if your league counts PPP and SOG. He has been firing the puck at a torrid pace.

Geez this is just terrible with the long term IR thing! Because it's retoactive from October 1st does that mean he could be back somewhat soon in a couple weeks or so? I know he has to be out at least 24 days or 10 games but could the Pens have put it retroactive from yesterday let's say, meaning we could expect him to be out much longer? Or is it retroactive from October 1st because that's when he got hurt in a game?

I have him and Rick Nash and I can't do any trades in my league so I'm stuck with both of them geez!! And I have Edler too who's suspended right now! The hockey pool gods hate me right now!!

    NHL.com:

Bylsma said Neal's placement on IR is retroactive, so he would be eligible to come off at any time since it has been more than 10 days since he was injured.

That is very interesting, so he could potentially be back next week, thanks for that intel! I'm sure Malkin owners would like him back too as Malkin's numbers are suffering a bit as well I think.

It's always the next day after the team puts him on IR.

Isn't he on LTIR? I read that means he can't play in at least the next 6 games including tonight.
