In a Buffalo heavy league so I may be able to throw Vanek, the newly named captain out for trade bate.

I don't know the data for sure so take this with a huge grain of salt. are you sure Eriksson is more valuable than say lucic in this format? he's pretty much the lowest pim getter in the league, I can't imagine his hits numbers are great... likely much the same for blocked shots. lucic on the other hand is likely a stud in these categories by comparison... check the data, but my initial thought is that it's a move to consider. also I would watch burrows... he may have a return to form with a healthy kesler (better than ever according to reports). let us know

Grab Lucic like the others said but Backes is at least as valuable as well. You probably don't even need Hiller so drop him and Eriksson for Lucic and Backes.

I'm thinking of dropping Vanek. I'm a Sabres fan but the team looks awful and the guy has no help. He's high because he exploded the first half of the season with Pommers but I don't see him being elite this year despite the contract year he is in. As for Hiller, Since goalie stats are huge in this league I like the W L and SA the added goalie gets me. I nabbed Backes for Eriksson but I'm gonna hold on Lucic for the time being. Being in a Buffalo league I think I'm a bit more safe waiting then in most leagues because they hate him so much.

I love leagues full of people that use their heart instead of their brains... I didn't even notice backes or I for sure include him... backes is the right move here because of position so good call... I still think I take lucic too but you have a better idea on what kind of peripherals you need to win... it's H2H so it doesn't really matter at this point anyways... only matters in 18 weeks or so lol
