We've been in talks and I'm proposing this. Both of us are gunning for the championship this year, and competed with one another last year. The reason I want OV and Kane is because of our league setup:

G, A, +/-, Shots, Hits, Blocks, SHP

Thoughts?

I would keep Stammer no matter what. It looks to be a fair trade and if you're down with it then go ahead. I personally wouldn't get rid of Stammer

It's a pretty fair deal and I think I will do it if you need hits if not I would prefer what you got...

Stamkos = OVY whit hit shoot is pretty equal
Parise = E.Kane whit hit parise will get a bit more shoot they will be pretty equall
LOU and Niemi is a wash I think LOU will have a good year he have a good preseason...

Close trade, but for me it comes down to the goalies here.

I think Niemi is a much better goalie than Luongo. Not that Luongo isn't a great goalie, but Niemi is a top-5 guy IMO.

I like the OV/Ekane forward side because the perhiperals DOMINATE Parise/Stamkos in PIM/HIT. SOG is mildly improved...you might lose 5g going from stammer to OV but OV will have a better +- more than likely.

As for goalies I see the Nucks being very defensively oriented under Tortarella, and Luongo is a strong season finisher. I think a stat line like 40w/2.35gaa/.923 sv% is likely, and The Canucks will outplay a declining sharks squad.

Really appreciate the input everyone. Trade negotiations fell through; the guy has a hard on for Kane and in the end he couldn't pull the trigger. I'm not disappointed as I was pretty 50/50 on it myself. Thanks dobbernation!
