Letang has been placed on IR so he'll most likely have to sit out atleast the season opener against the Devils.

Think it is worth losing Voynov to chance Letang's injury is short-term?

I have both and I like Voynov a lot too but if you have a chance to grab Letang because the owner is nervous, I say pull the trigger. Voynov should be top 20 dmen points but you wont get a better chance at Letang than right now. I don't mind the gamble because of the big payoff so sometimes you gotta get the talent and ride out the injuries. I have been doing it for years with Gabby and it is what it is. You enjoy the good times and don't b*tch too much when the eventual dings show up.

According to the Post Gazette it´s not serious and he could be back as soon as saturday.
Unfortunately it was not confirmed by the Pens.
Still all speculation.
Everything ive read still says "indefinate" or "extended period of time"

Well Pens did not put him on the long term injury list which would mean he´s out for 2 weeks or more, so could really just be a minor injury.
But of course you are right, it´s just a speculation.
