I think they keep him after what he has shown so far. Mike Hoffman will probably be sent down instead and Jimmy O'Brien will be waived for sure
There are at least nine teams scouting the Sens game tonight. It seems that if the Sens decide not to keep DaCosta, he will be traded, likely for a draft pick. He is centering B. Ryan and M. Michalek tonight.
He would have to clear waivers to be sent down and the Sens fear he would be claimed so they do not want to lose him for nothing.
Looks like they are showcasing him because they really don't have room for him.

No clue where he would fit in, I just don't think they'd let a guy with his talent go for nothing. But at the same time I wouldn't want him as just an extra forward. He would probably play wing if he was on the big Sens I would imagine.
Personally, I would only deal him if a younger prospect was coming back.
