Default Needing to beat my brother in our FHL league! (advice appreciated)

Invited my brother to our FHL this year and realized we're too much alike in our preferred hockey pics.

He drafted #1 spot and I was 2nd ended up reaching for a lot of the same players as a result. Just needing clean up my team as a result.

It is a 12 team league so it's not just about beating my brother but there's definitely some pride on the line.

    Here's his team

    C Crosby, Krejci, M. Koivu
    LW Couture, Kunitz, Richards,Bickell
RW Brown, Simmonds, Horton (IR), Abdelkader
D Karlsson, Kronwall, Gonchar, Beauchemin, Leddy, Giordano
    G Luongo, Niemi

My team in sig below along with league breakdown.

Think I could benefit from an increase in RW/C depth.
Not sure if I should keep both Hamilton and Gardiner on D.
    We do run 6D spots.

    Ott
    Grabovski

    Henrique
    Frolik

Grab Ott and quickly. No way he is waiver material in a leauge that counts both PIMS and HITS. Drop Eller.

My want to stash Clutterbuck on the IR before you grab Ott. He is a hit machine and if he comes back and gets top 6 minutes he could be a sleeper. Worst case scenario is that you drop him when you need the IR spot or he comes back and is buried on the depth chart.

I prefer Grabovski to Steen but there is little to seperate them. Grabovski has more PIM and more potential.

    Thanks grabbed Ott.

Have been eyeing Clutterbuck but he isn't IR eligible yet so will grab him with another pick up when he is.

    Any thoughts on D?

In H2h there is No need to carry extea D. drop 1 and pick up an extra forward. My pick would be Grabovski.

i missed that earlier or id have told ou to drop a D instead of Eller. A few sleeper picks for D with your categories are Radko Gudas and Luke Schenn. end of bench D need to contribute in categories besides points. Look for guys with Hits and PIMs.

If your league will allow you might consider carrying less than 6 D as well.
