    Default Little, Filppula, Okposo?

Pretty simple : Bryan Little, Valtteri Filpulla, Kyle Okposo.
Keeper league, 2 points a goal, 1 an assist.
Gotta drop one of these guys to make room for Jeff Carter.
    Which one gets the axe?

    Thanks!

    I'd cut Okposo.

    Little
    Filppula
    Okposo

Clear 1,2,3 IMO and a fairly large gap between each

You guys insane! 2 pts for a goal here. Filps doesn't shoot. He's the obvious drop here IMO

I tend to agree with this. Everyone undervalues Okposo because he's had a rocky road thus far in his career, but if he continues where he left off in the playoffs and last month of the reg season last year, he should score 25-30 at least. I'd easily take him over Filppula and probably Little too. Little is way more of a sniper than Filppula so I'd probably drop Filppula as a result.

Hold on a second. True, he did not shoot in Detroit, doesn't mean he is not going to shoot in Tampa, where he will be counted on for secondary scoring. IMHO he is a good sleeper pick for this season.

I would drop Little since Okposo is a more goal heavy guy.

Filppula has never been a goalscorer, whether in the SM Liiga, the AHL or the NHL. Most goals in his career is 23 two years ago in Detroit, and had 20 one year in the AHL, that's it. And people forget he'll be 30 in March, not getting any younger.

Little was a top sniper in the OHL for years and even though that hasn't translated yet to the NHL, that's what he's still recognized for. He scored 31 in Atlanta as a 22 year old and 24 year before last in Winnipeg, and that was with low point totals. If he breaks out you're looking at a 30+ goal season, but likely 25 is a decent bet.

Okposo's more iffy but he too is more of a pure goalscorer than Filppula, and if he breaks out I'd expect 25-30.

I think Filppula's going to have a very nice season in Tampa, my guess is 20 goals and 60 pts, but with higher goal totals I think Okposo and Little will outvalue him.

If you combine his last month of the season and playoff games he would be on pace for 20 goals in a full season. And that's at a better rate than what he was doing the rest of last year.

If you ever watched Filppula play in the last four years, you would know that the only time he shoots is when he has a gun to his head. He was SO frustrating to watch in Detroit because he would just drive to the outside, dipsydoodle a bit and then lose the puck. Rinse and repeat.
    GO WINGS!

Still more likely to outscore Filppula.

I agree with this as well. 2 points for a goal make Filppula the drop for me.
