Please help to rank the offensive players behind top 5 - league settings below.

    E. Staal, Perry, H. Sedin, D. Sedin, Giroux, P. Kane, Toews, Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Kopitar, Parise, Nash, Backstrom, Ryan

Who would be the top5 to pickup from this crew? And why?

    Thanks!

Who's in your top 5? How is Hall not here? Anyways I'm including him.

    Hall
    Giroux
    Kane
    Backstrom
    Staal
    Datsyuk
    Toews
    Kopitar
    Parise
    Nash
    Zetterberg
    Perry
    Ryan
    Sedins

I want everybody on this list ahead of the two Sedins. I honestly do not ever see them posting 80 points again in their careers and I think every other player can.

Thanks! Top5 Crosby, Stamkos, Ovie, Malkin, Tavares. And I have Hall as my keeper. Preparing for draft and expecting that I can take 2 from the below crew.

I am also very keen on Giroux. Hope I can land him, and then either Kane, Backstrom or Staal.

Agree with most posts but with your stats would consider Perry over Backstrom. Pure points - Backstrom, but he really does not contribute in any of the other areas posted (FW - the exception).

No offense, but take advantage of guys like this. Take advantage of the owners that still value the Sedins like 80 point players, as they aren't.

The top 5 really is the top 4, Call them Tier 1.
    Crosby, Stamkos, Malkin, Ovechkin
These four have been the top and no one has shown that they belong with them just yet.

After that there is the next 5, Call them Tier 2.
    Tavares, Giroux, Backstrom, Kane, Hall
All these guys have the potential to joint the top 4 as soon as this year.

The next 6 are all guys used to be in Tier 2, but not anymore.
Getzlaf, Staal, Toews, Sedin, Sedin, StLouis
Still 70-80 point type players, but probably aren't going to explode any time soon.

These guys are a level below everyone above, and a little overrated in my opinion.
Perry, Nash, Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Parise, Spezza

    Then the "High Potential" Picks.
Ryan, Benn, Eberle, RNH, Duchene, Seguin, Kessel

Based on the OP's league settings, Kane has to be bumped from the top 5. He's a total stud for points and has yet to reach his full potential, but he doesn't Hit, PIM, Blk, or win FO enough to beat a 60-70 point player who does. He won't be getting many SHPs either. A little sad, but true, and the GM in this type of league that realizes this fact usually wins.

These are some of the classic flashy point only guys that are "penalized" by multicat leagues (P. Kane, St. Louis, Kessel, Eberle, and even Datsyuk to a lesser degree). Others to steer clear of are Eriksson and Moulson - granted they aren't part of the conversation.

People love Patty though... so you you can trade him for the other Kane and maybe add Callahan and laugh your way to the championship.
    10 Team H2H Points (Keep 1C, 2W, 2D, 1G, & 1 non-goalie):
G,A,+/-, PIM, PPG, SHG, GWG, OTG, FOWs, Hits, Blks, Maj, Mis, (bonus scoring for D-men makes them comparable to Wing)
    Wins, Saves, GA, Shutouts

    18 Man Roster (3 IR slots) Daily Start: 2C, 4W, 4D, 2G

    C: Zibanejad, Thomas, Tavares
W: Stutzle, Robertson, Connor, Buchnevich, McCann
D: Makar, McAvoy, Josi, Theodore, Matheson, Harley
G: Georgiev, Binnington, Kochetkov, Andersen (IR)
