    Default Alex Pietrangelo

I'm thinking of targeting Pietrangelo in a new keeper league. However, it's a cap-league and Pietrangelo has yet to be signed.

    Two questions:

1- What do you believe Pietrangelo's salary will be?
2- What's his upside for the next 3-4 years in a points-only league?

    1- Between 6.5 and 7 mil.
    2. 45-50 points.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

I think he signs a 2 year bridge contract like Subban did last season - at this point, I think that it is inevitable. I see AP as a 50 point d-man with potential for more as STL develops a more offensive game.

Sorry, I'm thread jacking here. I have him in a salary cap league. If he does sign for ~$7m do you guys think it would be a good idea to just drop him (I can drop him for free if his contract is "difficult") and try to draft Suter?

Does he have any trade value right now, while he is unsigned?

To an owner who has good cap space, he would. I agree with you, I'd try to trade him before simply dropping him.

I'm guessing he'll be signed soon enough though since training camps are starting in a week. At the latest, he should be signed in two weeks. I can't imagine the Blues waiting much longer to ink him, right?
