In keeper leagues everyone is rightfully high on Huberdeau. However, with a limited keeper window like three years and on a team that is expecting to contend, would it be wise to opt for a more mature Loui Eriksson or Logan Couture?
Scoring cats for skaters are G, A, +/-, PIM, Blks. I'm not crazy about the multi-cat potential of any of the three, though Loui could have a nice +/- while Hubs may have a bad one.
Thanks

I would not consider Huberdeau if you're looking to contend this year.
In terms of Eriksson vs Couture, I think I'd roll the dice on Eriksson. The move to Boston appears to be a perfect fit on paper. He's also outpointed Couture in two of the past three seasons and out-assisted Couture in all three (while being in an inferior offensive situation). I would also now give an edge to Eriksson in +/- thanks to his new environment. PIMs should be close, but Couture would be the one to contribute more there (slim margin). Couture also takes goals and blocks.
Pretty close, but I take Eriksson because I like the new situation he's stepping into. If you feel better about Couture, it won't kill your season if you take him.
Now and long-term I'll take Logan Couture out of that group. I like Huberdeau quite a bit, he's one of the game's top young rising players but he's not going to produce like Couture will in San Jose...not for the next three years at least.
