You haven't watch a lot of Habs game to say this, as Subban was the best defensive defenseman in Montreal last season (after Gorges).

This one can't be measured. You could try to put some numbers to it.

What if you tied Smid and Schultz together and put an oversize jersey over both of them?

So I am closing the contest now. 35 entries ( including a few forum members who aren’t great at counting to five )

Attached to this post is the spreadsheet that allows the 'experts' to grade the entry. There were a few posters who wanted to be part the grading so please have at it. I decided to post it here so that anyone who feels up to the task can grade the entries. If you feel up to the challenge - go for it. My only request is that you spend enough time thinking about it to put reasonable grades to each of the 136 predictions, don't just think about it for 2 seconds.

I am hoping for at least 3 people to grade but a lot more would be great.

On the spreadsheet I put them in somewhat random order to avoid bias regarding early or last predictions. Generally use grades from 1 to 5. 1 is more likely, 5 is really unlikely. You can use zero for things that are so likely that they are almost a sure thing. You can use 10 for those really unlikely predictions. If you feel the need to use decimals that is fine too.
You can grade your own predictions. If there is a prediction you can't grade put a comment in the far right column to explain.

When you are finished repost the completed form on this forum. To post an excel file you have to zip it.

If you have trouble either downloading or uploading send me a private message and we can talk via email.

Thanks for everyone who participated, some really cool predictions.

EDIT: Added some forecasts I missed.

    4) Grabovski is second in scoring on the Capitals.
    5) Leafs win Cup (fat chance)

    Bottleneckers (12/16 in 2022)
    16 team, points only. G: 2-W, 4-SO.
    Top 9F, 4D & 1G . Keep 15, Max 23
