Berglund is an obvious choice, he´s by far the youngest and there´s a least hope that he still improves.

Between Steen and Erat i´d take Steen. He´s streaky so he is very usefull in his strong weeks and should outscore Erat at the end of the season overall.

Berglund is pretty well decided on, I just thought I'd include him in case there were any dissidents. But of the other two I get to keep one. Which? One vote for Steen so far.

    I'd keep Erat over Steen.

You know exactly what you get in Steen, nothing special. He's solid if unspectacular.

Don't let go the shot that Erat and not Johansson play with AO and Backs on the top line. He was 57ish points repeatedly on a team like Nashville. If he wins that spot what can he do? Well more than what Steen will put up. On top of Erat's upside you get Steen's inevitable pigeon holing as a checker. He's behind so many scoring threats that he's unlikely to ever hit 50 again.

I would keep Erat and Berglund.

Steen is not fantasy relevant, in a points only pool.

There's not much to choose from between Steen and Erat, IMO. Since you are going with Berglund (STL) already, my hunch would be to spread things out and take a flyer on Erat in Washington.

The top two lines in Washington (where Erat should play) have far more break-out potential that where ever Steen ends up in StL, given who the points are so evenly distributed in STL.

    Good luck.

Erat is the top guy to go with. He scored 58 points on Nashville as recently as two seasons ago. Now that he's with Washington I say he has a good opportunity to improve on those numbers.

I'm personally not too high on Berglund or Steen myself. Maybe if Berglund could rise above a third line role he could do something decent but to me he's little more than a benchwarmer in fantasy hockey. At least he'll play all the games though. Steen, despite being a better scorer, will probably spend half the season on the IR.

Between them Bergie probably has the chance to do more since at the very least he will be healthy.

There are good points to keep Erat over Steen, but he´s for sure relevant in a 24 team points only league

Why is Berglund the obvious choice? He has had every opportunity in the world, and the best he ever did was 52 points.

Steen, only 4 years older than Berglund, and on the same team, is always injured for periods of time, but consistently puts up better numbers than Berglund when pro-rated over a full season. Even when injured, his numbers come pretty close to matching Berglund's. I would take a chance on Steen having a somewhat healthy season. If he does, he should outpoint Berglund. If not, he should match Berglund.

To me, the obvious choice is Erat.

    Erat and Steen for me.
