    Default Best Goalie to target

With Brodeur no longer the uncontested starter I need to pickup a goalie in our draft this year. Out of this list who would you target most and why?

    Emery
    Mason
    Ramo
    Reimer
    Bryzgalov
    Lindback

    thanks

Emery, Reimer and Ramo would be my top 3. Bryz is in outter space, Lindback may very well backup Bishop as will Mason to Emery. Think those three mentioned will garner most starts and get you the most wins. Emery got a lot of love on NHL radio yesterday as the flyer's starter.
Hockey Pools? Too many to mention. Points only, salary cap and dynasty.

    I would totally target Bryz.
I'm sure you could offer some belly button lint and get Bryz and a pick back

This is sound advice. Ramo and Reimer will most likely be in time share situations for the first half of the season so Emery is the safest pick of the lot.

Actually out of all listed i feel Ramo plays the most games next year. Unfortunately i dont know if that will equal the most wins.

I'd probably roll the dice on Steve Mason here. I think Emery's been protected for the last couple of years both by a great D and by sheltered minutes. I'm not convinced his body can hold up to a 50-60 game sched.

Depends on what your goal is long term. If you want a goalie that you plan to keep long term as a replacement to Brodeur you might wanna roll the dice on Ramo and hope he can do a lot with a little (sorta like Dubnyk has in EDM) until the team improves. If you're just looking for a quick bandaid for this season I'd take a chance on Emery this year and hope he turns out to be the #1

Reimer for me, and it's not really close. I would go with Emery or Ramo as the secondary choice, but I feel like Reimer runs away with the starting job as early as November.

    Cheers.
