That clip was hilarious! Forsberg was trying to hit/agitate Yzerman after he got rid of the puck and totally dove. Watch Yzerman's stick, no way that's a butt-end, the stick blade is too high...trust me, I know these things! Once Forsberg realized the refs weren't buying, he got up and went to the bench.

Ha! You wish. Trust me, after watching Detroit lose to Pittsburgh a few years ago, no loss even comes close. Detroit was the underdog this year and I didn't even expect them to beat Anaheim. Them taking the Hawks to seven games was just gravy. It was an awesome, hard-fought series and Chicago deserved to win, especially the last two games.

Why can't you just accept that Toews is not god's gift to NHL captains? That's the only point I have made. Hell, I even like Chicago as a team, but I think Toews is horribly overrated as captain material. Then again, I'm comparing him to the greatest captain ever in the NHL, so I have a pretty high standard, but still.

Loved the way Forsberg played though. To me, he broke the Neanderthal Canadian thinking that Swedes were not tough. Forsberg pushed back and had a little talent to boot.

Your point is taken but I think that Wings incident in Game 4 will be a tiny little isolated footnote in what will turn out to be a legendary NHL career, and he'll turn out in the end to be one of the better NHL Captains in recent memory. I firmly believe that. Will he end up matching up with Beliveau, Lidstrom, Sakic, Lemieux, Messier, Yzerman? Not sure, but he'll be damn close in my view.

but i can recall just as many times where he came out next shift, out-muscled everyone and scored though...

For sure, the fact that he was so injury-prone was a tragedy for hockey, a real shame. What a hockey player.
