That is how I would rank them.

    Halak is a solid goalie.
I wish I knew if he was in St.Louis' long-term plans. That is a bit scary.

    It's a toss-up between Bob & Varly for me.
I really don't think Bobrovsky is going to be able to repeat his past year.
CBJ is in a tougher new division and will have a harder time winning games.

And I also believe that Varlamov is much better than his past year.
COL is also building a very solid team and could be winning a lot soon.

WINS are the most dependable category for goalies.
GAA can fluctuate year to year.

Colorado's defense is horrible right now. But a few trades (Stastny? O'Reilly?) and a few UFA signings could fix that next year.

In your keeper league set up I would go with:

Price then both Varly and Bob as you could flip flop them. And I would do that only because Broduer will be retiring and will not play much, and who knows what STL has in plan for Halak, and with the goalie market quite full will he still have a job in a couple years?

So for keeping this team long term I would choose those 3
    BEER RULES - 16 team H2H keeper. Dress: 3C, 3LW, 3RW, 6D, 2G Reserve: 5; 20 farm players
    Stats: G, A, STP, +/-, GWG+, H+B, PIM, W, SV, SV%, SO
    C: Hischer, Zib, J.Hughes
    LW: Guentzel, Svechnikov
    RW: Bratt, Pastrnak
    D: Hamilton, Weegar
    G: Merzlikins, Samsonov, Murray
Rookies: Too many awesome prospects to list

    Yahoo - Keep 3, 12 team H2H.
Stats: G, A, PTS, +/-, PPP, SHP, PIM, GWG, HIT, SOG, W, GAA, SV%, SV, SO
    Keepers: Zibanejed, Connor, Svechnikov

I can't list my 2nd main keeper as there are too many players, but it is a keep all H2H points-only league

When did Bob Marley start playing hockey...o...ohhhhhh...Bob/Varly.

    Sad attempt at humor.

Yeah...I don't disagree much with Pengwin here, but considering the ?'s surrounding Halak's health and who's getting the #1 job there...and nearly the same ?'s about Varley (more about health and quality)...I think I'd actually promote BOB a tier and demonte Varly a tier...

Spot-on analysis by Pengwin. 100% in agreement, Halak doesn't get enough love and Varlamov is seriously undervalued as well.

I would probably keep: Price/Halak/Bob since Varlamov will be much easier to redraft than Bobrovsky.

Halak has not done much in the past 2 years to warrant much more Love than he gets. He can't stay healthy and instead of running away with the #1 job on one of the most defensive teams in the league, he lets former wash, Elliott pry away the gig from him. Seems Halak playes best when stuck in a time share (much like he did in Montreal before the promotion of Price).
Don't get me wrong...helluva goalie...but not much fantasy value when he's diluting his fantasy contributions with time share, spotty performances and lost games to Injury.

And Varly? I also don't understand the statement of him being undervalued. What has Varlamov done to earn more value short of carying a lot of propsect hype and potential?

Not that I disagree terribly here, but I just don't understand all this blind love for a couple tenders who "SHOULD" be higher on the value list but simply haven't earned it. The Positive connotation of "Potential" can also be mirrored to suggest "Better Luck Next Year".

But DO agree...Varly will be far easier to draft than Bob and even Halak for that matter.
