    Default Kopitar++ for Nash++

Hey Dobber, I have a question about one of my fantasy leagues which uses an auction-based salary cap system. I'm coming off a championship but lost Kovy this offseason. I like this trade, just want to make sure it's not horrific.

    His
    Kopitar @ 10.5M
    E. Kane @ 4M
    Brunner @.5M

    for my
    Nash @ 8.5M
    J. Johnson @ 4M
    Tyson Barrie @.5M

I am tight on cap space and this would leave me with around 4M to sign 3 D, and D points are their own categories so JJ could really gain some value if he were to put up a 45-50 point season with the new and improved CBJ.

    Thoughts?

Are there positional requirements for forwards?

At first look, I like this deal for you.

No, a forward is a forward.

Getting Kopitar and Evander is way worth it. I'd do it in a second

The Kopitar side is much better than the Nash side. JJ is not a 45-50 point D man. Take it.

We have to know your complete roster advise you correctly. You win the Forward in this trade and lost the Dman. I'm pretty high for Barrie and JJ is the guy to go in CLB !

    Kopitar > Nash
Kane > JJ ( Kane will outpoint JJ, but as a Dman he is as well important for is team)
Brunner = Barrie If you have lot of forward you can sign I just dont want to trade Barrie for Brunner

I put a slight edge on the Kopitar side

    good luck

Ended up getting him to drop the two prospects so I the final trade was JJ and Nash for Kopitar and Kane. Picked up $2M salary with my tight cap but I'm happy with the result, thanks guys!
