Default Kronwall vs Del Zotto points only..

Hey guys.. Points only.. Whos better.. Kronwall vs Del Zotto and why?

I'm thinking that with the new coach in New York Del Zotto has the slight edge.. I like Kronwall but I beleive he will slide a bit this year with the team getting older and weaker every year.. Also playing in the East might change some things..

    I appretiate your wisdom.....

Since it's a keeper and points only, I'd say keep DelZ. He's not as "safe" a pick, but the age difference is pretty big and DelZ could easily outpoint Kronwall. I think DelZ has a good year under AV this year, with his emphasis on Dmen joining the attack.

I'm interested in seeing everyone's thoughts as well. I'm considering keeping MDZ over Kronwall in a multi cat league.

MDZ for me as well in points only.

I'm with the above two - MDZ. The age difference alone makes it a win, plus I think he outpoints Kronwall.

Given it's a keeper and MDZ is a lot younger, one might lean that way.

But Kronwall is a proven producer on a team with proven producers who - in my view - will put on a show in the East, thanks to much lighter travel skeds and the more offensive style of play that we've seen the past few years. And, while Brendan Smith has been highly-touted on these boards and elsewhere, Kronwall is still an undisputed anchor on the Wings first PP unit.

The move East should put a ton of extra jump in the step of the older Wings (Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Franzen)...and the addition of Weiss and Alfredsson adds a bit of all-around offense too.

So for next year and the year after, I'd take Kronwall -- and by a decent margin (well..7,8,9 pts)

    After that, leaning towards MDZ.

Given it's a keeper pool, make your decision from there. I'd still lean towards Kronwall, though

If I had to choice between MDZ or Kronwall to start a nhl team I'd choose Kronwall without hesitation. Kronwall is a beast in multi cat ! He hit, he BS, he play more then 22 Min per game until 2008! Point only 'MDZ isn't a safe choice, i prefer safer bet.

I would go Kronwall. Proven producer on a proven team with a lot of depth.
MDZ could benefit from AV, but there is no guarantee he gets to be next Edler. I don't think MDZ's potential is enough to go away from Kronwall.

Kronwall for me. He is more proven and finished 6th overall in D scoring last year. MDZ finished 34th overall.

If this is mult-cat, huge edge to Kronwall.

If this is points only, still a decent edge to Kronwall.

    Cheers.
