Default Unfortunate - Fortunate turn of events

One of our members just withdrew from the league, therefore tossing his team back into the free agency pool for the upcoming draft

So in addition to Mackinnon, Drouin and the other recent NHL draftees who are eligible, players such as RNH, Hossa, Strome, Bergeron, and Crawford are now available.

I have the 3rd pick in the draft and the league scoring categories are in my signature.
It is a limited keeper league so Tarasenko or Galchenyuk may also be available.

I'd greatly appreciate your thoughts on who to draft.
since it is 3rd, I'll need at least your top 3

Thanks and I'll rep ya where I can.

My top 5: MacKinnon, Drouin, RNH, Galchenyuk, Tarasenko

Great year to have a top three pick!! Very fortunate for you.. Hopefully one of those guys takes RNH or even Galchenyuk/Tarasenko in the first two picks.. Leaving Mack or JD for you..

Yea. Agree with everyone, just not on order. I think Mackinnon, RNH, Drouin.

Price and Ward are both much better than Crawford. No chance would I pass up those prime forwards for a "meh" goalie.

My top 3 would be: RNH, McKinnon Drouin probably in that order. Then galchenyuk and Tarasenko.

    MacKinnon, Drouin, Barkov.

RNH is too injury-prone and not showing much for my liking, so I'd just take the top three from this year's draft.

Strome,Tarasenko,McKinnon,Drouin,Galchenyuk,Barkov are all "can't miss" guys and would be good for the #3 overall pick. I personally would use that number 3 pick for the guy that's going to be skating around with Tavares.

Personally I dont agree with this statement at all. I would take Crawford over Ward in a heartbeat.

As usual, Crawford is the Rodney Dangerfield of the NHL.

Back to the OP. Your goaltending is good enough that you should be looking at one of those young stud forwards. You never know, Crawford could still be there in the 2nd round. There is plenty of guys who don't show him the love he deserves and that could play in your favor.
