Default 5th overall, Eberle and Shatty for Tarasenko, Duchene and OEL

Which side wins in the league in sig? I would receive Duchene's side and I would still have 1st and 2nd overall picks.....

    Thoughts?

I like the Duchene side here by quite a fair margin. Shatty may provide a bit more pure offense than OEL due to the strength of the latter's overall game but the upgrade I see at the forward position more than compensates.

Agree with rainy, take that Duchene deal and run. Only issue is who you have to drop from your squad, I assume Barrie or Silfverberg, but you can make up for that with your 1st and 2nd.

UPDATE: I'm an idiot, the obvious dropper is Derek Roy, I think. Silfv and Barrie represent solid value in a salary cap league.

Why would he have to drop anyone? He's well under 17 players. I like this deal too. I don't see the 5th pick being as good as Tarasenkso and Duchene is an upgrade. I say pull the trigger.

this is an easy accept for me.

Eberle and Duchene are pretty even
Shatty and EOL are pretty even

So it comes down to Tarasenko for the 5th? Easy deal IMO.

I really like this deal for you, too. Here's how I see things:

    Tarasenko > 5th overall
    Duchene > Eberle
    OEL </= Shatty

Perhaps a slight downgrade from Shattenkirk to OEL, but you get a pretty significant upgrade in Duchene over Eberle (IMO) and Tarasenko is miles ahead of a Lindholm/Monahan type.

    Pull the trigger.

Nope. I'd avoid that one for sure. Classic example of giving up quality for quantity. Stand pat for sure.

The new offer is not a good one.

I think you are going to have to give up 1st and probably 2nd to get Duchene. It all comes down to if the other owner wants to wait/risk for the prospects to develop.

In a keep 170... that 5th overall pick isn't really great.

    I prefer Duchene/OEL/Tarasenko.
