    next season

Baertschi ( he is already their best foward, his last 10 games last season prove he is ready, a lot of ice time for him)
Granlund ( ready to take 2nd line center..should play with Heatley and Coyle..)
Tarasenko ( will play with Roy maybe, if not with Berglund... will have every opportunity to play)
Toffoli ( even if he is probably going to play with Richards and Carter, I personnaly prefer the other guys)

same order in 3 years for me

If you are contending you have to stay with Pominville ( whos going to play with Parise and Koivu) and Sharp for sure

If not contending for 2 years than i prefer Baertschi and Tarasenko/Granlund

This is how I would rank them from now till 3yr:

    Tarensenko
    Granlund
    Baertschi
    Toffoli

But no real explanation because I would take both Pominville and Sharp over them.

Both flirt with 60 points a season with a 10 or so point increase depending on a good season.

Depending on your positional needs, I beleive Sharp has LW/RW/C. I am pretty sure that's how Yahoo had it. So may be something of value. However, Pomminville seems to be the more dependable player and hurt less often.

So depending on what you need I would go with Sharp or Pomminville, personally, preferring Pominville because I would like to see what he can do with a full season in MIN.

Finished in MIN with 9 pts in 10 games

Baertschi and Tarasenko are head and shoulders above the other 2 IMO both this season and in the long run. I would hate to let either go but I don't think either will match Pominville or Sharp's points this season although it could be surprisingly close so I would hang on to Baertschi and Tarasenko because of the long term benefit.

If it's points only and you want to win this year, I think you have to go Sharpe and Pominville.

Have you examined your league for rebuilding teams? Perhaps you can package one of Sharp or Pominville, plus one of Tarasekno, Granlund, etc. for a short-term upgrade? I'm rebuilding in my league, and I would trade picks for those young guys you are dropping - that's another potential option.

If you are going all in, you might as well try to use those assets that will be dumped to improve your keepers or get something you can use.

    Good luck.

    my thoughts are:
    Tarasenko - 45 to 55
Baertschi (however you spell it) - 40 to 50
    Granlund - 35 to 45
    Toffoli - 35 to 45

would never think about these guys over pommer or sharp in a points only this year, however in 3yrs Tarasenko over pommer is a definite possibility.

This is a solid assessment. I might flip Tarasenko/Toffoli for the 1-year consideration, but otherwise this analysis is exactly how I feel about these prospects.

I second the motion, but switch Toffoli for Tarasenko for year 1 and switch Toffoli for Granlund in year 3.

If you are in contention, Sharp will help you win. Pominville I could see myself dropping to pick up a future elite guy (if you can keep him afterwards).
