Drouin + for Getzlaf

I am a rebuilding team but getting closer to having a competitive team(IMO) and this deal will guarantee that i get better next season by adding a player that got 1800 fantasy points in half a season.(behind only E.Staal,Stamkos,Ovechkin, and kunitz in forward scoring for our league)
losing Drouin sucks obviously but i believe that with Getzlaf only being 28 he should still be producing at a high rate for at least 5 more seasons or more
it is a salary league which makes me leery of getzlafs huge contract

so my question is would it be worth the salary to get a player of getzlafs calibre?
deal is Drouin + Zubrus(salary purposes) for Getzlaf

We really need your scoring categories (unless it's poitns only) and your team breakdown, as well as the kind of league it is (weekly H2H, for example), how many keepers, etc.

Off the top of my head, say it's a multicat league and salary cap is big, and given that you are still rebuilding (although close to being competitive), I'd probably keep Drouin - it's a risk but think about what you get if he breaks out like a Giroux or Skinner and gives you big points for a very low entry level salary for the next few years - plus you can spend the extra cap space on good bargain vets to help you compete now.

But again, this is advice being given in a vacuum, need more detail.

didnt think about categories for some reason haha
full keeper 20 teams, G,A,plusminus,PPG,SHG,Hits,Blks,PIMS,GWG. standings based on fantasy points accumulated throughout season

How does the rest of your team look?? Do you have positional requirements you need to fill??

Getzlaf is a C while Drouin is a LW.. So you may have something more to think about here..

Drouin will be setting up Stammer for the next decade. I wouldn't trade him.

Drouin is worth more than Getzlaf in a keeper because of age, especially if you are rebuilding. There is no good reason to trade Drouin

I would make that deal if you were trying to go for the win. But if you're rebuilding, keep Drouin.
