Isn't Horton a RW?
I am also very curious where he will land, as I just got him in a deal yesterday.
Likely destinations?
Seems to me that, injury concerns aside, the Leafs won't find a better option to address their most glaring positional need. At only 28 years old, Horton fits in with their young core and signing him to a 5 year deal wouldn't leave the organization with a past-his-prime player by contract's end.
Plus, the 'Horton' jersey sales and Tim Hortons advertising possibilities alone should make this a slam dunk!

Ya I'm confused because Horton has never been, and never will be, a centre.
I'm so confused....
Hockeydb has him listed as a center but I bow to the collective wisdom of Dobber Nation!

Hockeydb is definitely wrong this time. He's never even had RW/LW dual elgibility. He is strictly a RW
Maybe he lands as a Leaf... But not as a Center

Isnt it more likely that the Leafs make a push for Lecavalier as their no:1 C, although his logical destination would be the Habs and obviously he is past his prime

He was drafted as a centre but it's been quite a while since he has played in that position and as of now the vast majority of his success has been seen in the RW slot.
He could possibly transition back into that role but I wouldn't want to sign him with the expectation that it would work. Isn't that what Buffalo thought they could do with Leino?

Noun
(slang, idiomatic) 1. A person who habitually corrects or criticizes the language usage of others, especially in situations where it is unnecessary, e.g. an informal conversation.
