    Default Forward depth

For league in sig. My forward core is weak, especially on the wing so I've been trying to upgrade there. I have a deal on the table now for Mikael Granlund and Grigs for my Dubnyk.

We only start one goalie and I still have Holtby and Pavs with some good young prospects close to the show. Goalies are valuable in our league so should I make this deal?

    Thanks

Id make the deal if you started two goalies. Great deal for you.

Yeah man that's a fabulous deal. You still hold tight at the goalie spot and add in two fantastic young guns to the offense.

Thanks guys, rep comin' your way. He also has Zibanejad, would you take him over Granlund or Grigs?

Zibanejad is in a tough spot in Ottawa. I think your getting the right two guys. Unfortunately it does nothing for your wingers, so hopefully this works into a bigger plan to now flip a center or two for some wingers.

That seems to be a fairly good return for Dubnyk. Goalies are hugely valuable in my league as well and Dubnyk moved a few months ago for Stepan and Leddy. Stepan and Leddy are a bit better than Granlund and Grigorenko, but I think it's fairly close. Especially considering that you've got Holtby and Pavelec when you only start one goalie.

I make that deal, but note that I believe Grigorenko and Granlund are both centers, and not wingers. Zibs is also very intriguing; his history of concussions last off season had me avoiding him like the plague. But I watched many of his games this year and he really appears to be the real deal.

Personally, I'm not sure if Dubnyk will make it long term as a number one goalie....so if you can flip him for two stud prospects I think that is a no brainer...

I don't deal with prospects in any of my leagues but I love this deal for you. You outline what you needed to do for your team regarding forwards and this trade is doing just that. Not to mention you're still set at G. Good luck this year!

I would do this deal, with all the rumours that the Oilers were trying to land Schnieder makes me think that MacT has little confidence in him which drops his value in my eyes. And that is a good return, do it.
