    Default Limited Keepers Points Only

Hey guys, gratz to any Chicago fans out there! Season's over and I'm already itching for the next.. Just looking for some advice on who I should keep and/or bundle as trade bait to improve my keepers.

    Team A - 8 teams, 8 keepers, points only, no positions, we ice 10F, 5D, 2G daily (2pt W, 2pt SO for G)

    Top Assets:
F: Malkin, Kessel, Neal, RNH, Benn, Wheeler, Huberdeau, Simmonds, Turris, Purcell
    D: J.Carlson, Karlsson
    G: Howard, Smith, Brodeur, Bernier
    1st overall pick

    Team B - 11 teams, 6 keepers, points only (0.5 bonus for GWG), no positions, we ice 10F, 4D, 2G daily (2pt W, 2pt SP for G)

    Top Assets:
F: H Sedin, Kessel, Datsyuk, RNH, Nash... Richards, brown, statsny, Fleischman
    D: none
    G: Lundquist, Elliot, Bernier
    7th overall pick

Team A is the more important one as B is pretty straight forward as I have no depth.. but interested in comments on both regardless. Appreciate any insights and will give rep where I can, THANK YOU!

I'm with the other two responses, those are the right keepers in my mind.
With regards to trading, team A is in an 8 team league, so most of the other teams 'should' be set with what they have as well unless you know someone will want to snag Bernier or Smith, but in order to do a trade to upgrade your keepers, one of the previously selected 8 players to keep will have to be dealt. Benn would probably be first up on my list of names to trade from team A

Team B could definitely use some youth, I would shop Nash and Richards imo. 11 teams with 6 keepers, Nash falls in that category and Richards could flirt with the limit there and someone might be open to the idea of having that top unit (now that there is a new coach, those players could become more appealing). I would definitely see if there are some teams in that league that are willing to part with a top d-man as you have none selected to keep but roster 4 in a points only league. It's a lot easier to compensate for losing 10-15 forward points than consistently being behind in d-man points.

    Anyways, good luck!

I agree, and would also keep Huberdeau over Wheeler.

thanks for the input guys I rep'd where I could. This is pretty much what I had expected, and I too am bouncing back and forth between wheeler and huberdeau in the 8th keeper spot.

For Team B the only D kept last year was Karlsson so I should be fine drafting them still.

Since I don't want to be holding too many young potentials in limited keeper perhaps I drop hubs and draft mackinnon first overall?
