Really good read - Jo is great for this sort of stuff. And a really common hockey injury.

#CBJ RW Nathan Horton will have shoulder surgery next week in Boston. Day has not been settled yet. 4-6 months recovery.

Wow, great read. I have this very problem. Shoulder pops out far too often, but so far have been very lucky to "whip" it back in place by myself. My 21 year old nephew wasn't so lucky and spent three hours in the emergency room waiting to have it put back in place. I can't even begin to imagine what he went through as the pain when I "tweak" my shoulder is absolutely mind-numbing.

I have an appointment to see the surgeon in September. I really hope it's an arthroscopic fix, but I seriously doubt that. Thanks for posting the article, now I'm a little better educated.

That is an awesome article. Great writer that Jo Innes. Love his style.

    Thanks for sharing.

Comish, long time no talk. Good luck with the surgery and I certainly hope it's arthroscopic!! Best of luck, seriously.
