    I'm happy for Torres...I think he was treated a bit unfairly by the league with his suspension, so good for the Sharks to stand by him and re-sign him to a nice contract (probably the last of his career)

    Raffi is a great role player. For 3 years at $2M per that's a solid signing.

    The contract was originally intended to be $1.5 million per year but when they sat down and figured out how many games he would be suspended every time he touched a fly they upped the salary to compensate.

    Touchy subject.....I don't like role players that injure guys we are forced to pay to watch....I want to watch talent...not an ass that knocks people out....retirement for torres would have been fine by me.....someone had to say it...there is a reason you had 3 replies to the thread.

    Maybe Sharks will sign Matt Cooke too so they can have a line of Cooke-Burish-Torres. I'm sure the opposing teams would love to play against that line.
