i am not sure that will get you the best goalie and the 3rd overall pick
I thought about proposing a trade to shake my team up a bit. I feel that this is a pretty fair offer as he may be relying on Tim Thomas to come back for his second goalie. He also has Peters CAR which would be a natural fit with Ward. It would be a lateral move IMO as far as the goalies are concerned but I like what I should get with Kesler (scored 40 goals just two years ago) and I would get a very good player in the draft. It also opens up another keeper slot for myself. (10 keepers) Thoughts???
My Niemi, C.Ward, Pietrangelo, Justin Schultz for his Kesler, Lundqvist and 3rd overall pick (opportunity to maybe pick up a guy like Mackinnon).
The categories are the following: G, A, +/-, PIMS, ATOI, SOG, HITS, Blocked Shots (BS), Special Teams Point (STP) as well as Wins (W), Shutouts (SHO), Goals Against (GA), Goals against average (GAA), and Save Percentage (SV%). There is a minimum of 3 goalie starts per week. There are daily roster spots for - 3 forwards, 2 centers, 2 left wings, 2 right wings, 6 defense, 1 Utility, and 2 goalies. There are 6 bench spots and 2 IR spots. We can keep up to 4 goalies on our roster (which I often do).

I don't like this trade for you.
Kesler is way too much of a risk with all his injuries.
The #3 pick in a fantasy draft will NOT land you MacKinnon.
Mackinnon should go #1 or #2 in every fantasy prospect draft.
Seth Jones, fantasy-wise, is NOT more valuable than either MacK or Drouin.
I know I've commented on your team and the overvalue of Schultz/AP... but I don't think this return is a good one.
To explain further, the draft is not for just prospects. It is for any player not protected as a keeper. There will be some very good players available at 3. Players in the calibre of Simmonds, Versteeg, Streit to name a few. Maybe even better calibre depending who isn't protected. 160 will be protected but last year I was able to pick up Schneider. Hossa and Jeff carter were also available in the first round. What do u think would be a better offer Pengwin7?
Yeah I don't like this trade for you either.
Niemi is criminally undervalued for some reason and I think it's great you have such a strong young D-Core that you have tradeable assets on D and G.
You should for sure improve your Centre depth and if you're willing to trade away guys like AP, Niemi, Schultz,....you should get back something great. The Nuge might be a great buy low option for you too. Surely someone in your league is in need of a Goalie. Try to find a trade partner where you have leverage but they still address a need.

#3 pick/Letang/Burns
The #3 pick does allow you to have 12 players (not 11) by the end of the first round.
So it is good value.
If Brent Burns plays forward and is still D-eligible, he'll have huge value next year.
Nobody is sure Letang will be re-signed by PIT... so that's a risk.
You may just want to start by asking him what he wants for that #3 overall pick.
I think Niemi is too valuable to part with though.
He was the 3rd/4th best fantasy goalie this year (per Yahoo! ranks).

Sorry to hijack this thread, but if Burns loses his D-eligibility, what kind of production can we expect from him next year?
