Not clear yet whether Corban Knight becomes UFA on July 1st or 5th but won't matter - agreed to terms on 2-yr entry level deal with CGY.
Anyone have the beans on this kid?

He claims to be a 3rd line center with limited offensive upside. In Edmonton, that upside would definitely never get reached. In Calgary it may.
If I had to assume, I would guess that is the reason he picked Calgary.
In Edmonton there is much more competition and already have two top-10 picks at C. In Calgary he is within reach of being the top C depending on how everything goes.
