The team that offered was 11th out of 16 teams this year which based on our lotto gives him a 5.9% chance at first overall if the ranking are similar next year. Adding Stamkos would probably gain him another 60pts so 11th is probably the best case for the pick again which should make it between 5th and 10th overall in 2014.
Free agent draft includes any previously undrafted player (we have 8 rounds x 16 teams every year) or free agent signings out of college.
My first thought was to counter by laughing but i need some perspective.

Trust your gut, this is a horrible deal. When I acquired Stamkos middle of last year it cost me RNH, Huberdeau and 2 high 1st round picks. I know our league are probably different but I still think I fleeced the original owner on that one and the quality of this offer just doesn't compare IMO.
