    Default Streit - value

With the move to Philly (assuming they re-sign him), has his value gone up or down?
Any previous year would be obviously a boost, but now the Isles are looking like a real team...

More of a lateral move IMO. The difference is negligible.

I'd have to agree with this thought.

Good move for the Flyers, status quo for Streit

    agreed,
regardless of whether he's on NYI or PHI, he's still the #1 puck moving D and PP Quarterback. Prepare yourself for 39-45 pts. Still a strong option on D and possibly still a keeper in deeper leagues. Minimal PIMs but plenty of PP points.

Pretty much what I thought, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything... I honestly thought it might drop off his production a bit with Timmonen having a pretty similar impact...

Actually I'd say that this acquisition hurts Timonen and not Streit...assuming he signs of course.

I don't think it hurts Timonen... it just changes the way the PP will operate, or at least gives it more options. Timonen to Streit for a one-timer is going to be a common occurance if he signs in Philly.

really? Don't really see either one of those guys as a trigger-man... more likely they'll on different PP units no?

I would think so. Voracek looks to be a fixture on the right point of the 1st PP leaving one of Timonen or Streit to run the 2nd unit.

If Streit signs in Philly and plays 80GP he'll score between 44-51 points.

What are the odds that he decides to pass on the NHL and return to Switzerland to finish his career? He didn't sign with the Isles and the dollars offered / asked for were close.

I would say those chances are 0.0000000001%. Quotes from Streit.

Yep fully agree with this. Streit will whore the majority of PP time....... granted of course his injury woes are behind him.

Good to know, thanks Fungchen3. I haven't seen that and wasn't certain of his playing future. I have him in one of my keeper leagues that I'm re-building so I'll attach that when I'm sending trade offers out, lol.
