Jonathan Toews just instructed bar owners in Chicago to keep their establishments open. "We're on our way home."

Magnificent series and playoffs. Best I can remember. Conrates to the Hawks and all there fans on here, a well deserved victory.

I felt that Crawford should have won the Conn Smyth but Kane was my second choice. I personally would have went with Emery after game 6, I thought that Boston had figured Crawford out but I suppose that is why I'm not an NHL coach.

Fantastic finish to a great series. Incredible warriors on both sides. It's amazing what these guys play through for the ultimate prize. Both teams were phenomenal.

Congrats, Shake, and to all the Hawks fans on the boards. The best team won.

    Congrats Chi-town and Shakedown.

Agreed, Crawford was robbed of the Conn Smythe.

That was possibly the best Cup final I've seen.... My team winning might make me biased but those were just absolutely two great teams. It's not often the two best teams meet for the Cup but it definitely happened this year.

This makes Chicago the first two-time winner in the salary cap era. The scary thing is the team will stay much more intact than it did after the 2010 win.

Why would that be a complete joke? He helped the team this year, was great for them in the regular season, been with the team for a couple of years.

What a ride. This is what it's all about. This is why we watch sports and have teams.

The Hawks are the only team I truly care about. I damn near lost my mind during the 3rd period.

But overall this Cup means so much. It validates this core and this group of players. After the 2010 Cup and two first round exits, there were serious questions as to whether this core was good enough or was 2010 just going to be a lone title.

The 2012-13 Hawks are all-time historic Chicago team. Greatest team ever in Hawks history. The streak, the President's Trophy, 7 games w/Detroit and the 3-1 comeback, beating the defending champs, and beating Boston in the way they did. The OT games, the game-winning goals, two goals in 17 seconds. Oh my. I'm getting emotional just typing this.

    Greatest championship of my life.

This is my favorite series since my Avalanche won it in 2001 ^^

Both teams played outstanding hockey. Boston was at its finest this last game - out-chancing chicago, scoring to get the lead in the third period, and playing their trademark defensive style.. and Chicago STILL won.

The resilience of a champion was highlighted in the stunning comeback- reminds me of how the Avs came back from a 3-2 series deficit to win the cup- Colorado was also the best team in the league that year from the beginning of the regular season to the Cup.
