Jake Muzzin...Expectations?
What are you guys expecting from Muzzin, next year and beyond? 25 points? 150 hits? 100 shots? 60-80 PIM? Or can I expect better in at least some of those categories?
In a 12-team league that starts 4 D per day (and has a total of 7 bench spots) G,A,PPP,+/-,PIM,SOG,hits is he likely to be worth owning this year or next? I can keep him on the farm until he reaches 150 GP, but I am wondering whether he has the upside to justify doing so. I am in win-now mode, but a bit short on draft picks for next year (keep 12 on the main team, draft to fill out to 22) so I would love to keep some guys on the farm who can step up and fill roles on my main squad.
I think he's a solid option in your league. Sutter seems to have some faith in him and he's gotten solid regular season TOI as a result. 30-35 points moving forward would not surprise me, but he could also prove to be a one-year wonder. The latter is admittedly speculation on my part since he's really struggled in the playoffs recently and appears to be a little bit of a late bloomer.

He's a decent keep if farm eligible.
Good shot but puck handling is mediocre. He should not be on the top PP.
Keep him for the farm and see how he starts out next season. I would suspect that he will produce enough to be a decent option on your roster but better to be safe.

If Muzzin is paired up with Doughty, he can put up very solid numbers again this season.

8 points in 11 games. Over 5 minutes PP-time last night while Voynov got only a little over 2 minutes. Muzzin still has his struggles in the defensive zone but he sure does seem to be capable to produce offensively.
