So with the hammer dropping on some prominent NHL coaches. Where do you predict they will ultimately end up in 2013-14. Also, which non-current NHL coach will be in the NHL coaching this year?
Vancouver Canucks
New York Rangers
Dallas Stars
Will Tippett stick with Phoenix?
Will Lindy Ruff land a gig?
Where does Vigneault coach this year?
Does Torts get hired this year or sits for a year? Same with the others?

Of everyone, I say Torts will not get a Job. New York seems like the fit for Ruff (the team fits his style), of Vancouver and Dallas, 2 out of 3 of Vigneault, Tippet and Dallas Eakins will get hired. I think Eakins goes to Van, Alain goes to Dallas, unless Tippet doesn't stay with Phoenix, in which case Tippet goes to Dallas and Eakins to Van IMO.

I wouldn't rule it out. Nieuwendyk was the one who canned Tippet 4 years ago but was just fired from the GM job himself. Now that Jim Nill has the job DT might entertain a return. It would be far from the first time a coach has gone back to a team that fired him in the past.

I have no doubt Torts will get another coaching job. I am about as certain as one can be that it will not be this summer. Vancouver as a team is way too soft to play a Tortorella system. He could maybe fit in Phoenix if Tippet doesn't stay, but usually with guys like Torts (Hitchock, Sutter) the league needs a break for a bit before bringing them back.
My guess is Ruff is the first to find a job and I think it will be an Eastern conference team so NYR or Philly as a long shot guess if they fire Laviolette. Tippett wil likely stay in PHX assuming the ownership situation gets sorted out. I think Torts takes a year off and entertains us on TSN. I could see Dallas talking to Vigneault.
