Default tough call? Johansen - Palmieri

hello everybody, i have the following trade offer on the table:

I get Kyle Palmieri and a 2nd Round pick (21st overall) while giving Ryan Johansen.

As you can see in my Signature i already have 4 Ducks players on my active roster assuming Etem makes the team and Teemu plays one more year. Palmieri then would make it 5 Ducks on my active roster. Is that too much?

I am kinda start doubting Johansen will put it all together, and i am of course aware of his tremendous upside.

What do you guys think? Will R.J ever live up to his potential or should i take this deal?

Johansen upside is higher IMO but i do also like Palmieri´s upside, especially if he plays top 6

Thank you for helping me out here

I would 100% trade for Palmieri. Palmieri has worked his way through the Anaheim system and is ready to start putting up some serious numbers in the NHL. You saw a glimpse of his potential during this past season (21 points in 42 games and 5 points in 7 playoff games). Johansen is much more of a wildcard here. I am really hoping Johansen has a much better 3rd season, but the way he is going it looks a bit too familiar to Burmistrov's first 3 seasons.

I would also do the trade, and I'm quite sure Selanne is finally done (sadly)

I think I would make that deal - Palmieri's upside is not quite as good as RJ's but he is showing he can produce in the NHL which is more than RJ is doing and that is worth something - the pick is probably the difference maker in the deal for you.

Had to vote Palmeri. I like Anaheim's top six, even after Selanne and Koivu are gone, and I personally wouldn't trade Palmeri for RJ straight across let alone add in a 2nd round pick. I see this trade as a real win for you.

I'm on Shoeless side. The pick if the difference maker. I'm a Johansen fan but I think you should accept the deal.

I do the deal, as well. I traded Doan for Palmieri and a conditional pick last season.

Palmieri has landed in a pretty sweet spot on a line with Perry and Getzlaf and should outperform Johansen based on linemates alone....

Well I am going against the grain here and I am going to roll with Ryan Johansen.. I see a 20 year old kid who has been stuck on a below average team, with hardly anyone to play with.. But Columbus now seems to be turning a corner and looks to be getting better.. I have always liked Ryan Johansen, back to his days in Portland..

I feel we will start to see R.Johansen's upside real soon..

I do like Palmieri aswell, and having a LW/RW guy is a good thing to have in fantasy hockey.. And playing with Getzlaf/Perry is a big deal aswell..

    I'd still want Johansen.
