Under the new CBA each team can buy out two players. I am under the impression they can buy out one per year for the first two years ofvthe CBA. Since the Rangers have already bought out Redden, do they nought have to wait until next year to buy out Richards ?

couple that with stepan and brassard being the 1-2 that the rangers have for years been trying to overpay to find at center and j.t. miller potentially being ready for a shot at the 3rd center spot and there really isnt room for him on the team
