I'm assuming he'll be a regular for the Pens next year.

What kind of production can be expected next season, and what's his upside?

15 points next season and 30 to max 35 upside. Despres will be more a great shutdown guy with some offensive upside.

Agree with what Dennis says. The Pens will have plenty of D that can put up offensive numbers so Despres is destined for a place in the primary shut-down pairing

He would be a nice depth add but I wouldn't expect 40 points out of him even on the Penguins.

I also wouldn't be sure he is going to play full time next year. I am going to assume he will but the Penguins still have Letang, Orpik, Martin, and Niskanin under contract. I'm sure they will be at least interested in signing Murray or Eaton. If they sign one of those guys or someone else (Scuderi reunion) that only leaves 1 spot open for Despres/Engelland/Bortuzzo. I think Despres will get into the line up but you never know.

30-40 point dman at his peak but that is many years down the line. He'll be a depth dman for the time being. Maybe 10-15 points with decent peripherals for now.

15 points max next year, 30 likely as his max, but he will likely fall somewhere in the low to mid 20s unless he gets moved to a team where he gets more of an offensive role, or really forces the Pens hand to give him more offensive minutes.
Straight Points keeper league. Keep 5 Forwards,3 defence,1 goalie.

D: Erik Karlsson, Alex Pietrangelo, Oliver Ekman-Larsson
