Hmm one game. This is gonna be tough. Apologize in advance!

Studs

1. Sharpie leaves a permanent mark on the scoresheet
For all of the talk about Pat Kane and Jonathan Toews, this team really rolls in the playoffs when Patrick Sharp is on his game. Sharp finished the night with a goal and two assists, bumping his numbers to nine points in six games. Sharp was a plus-two and added seven shots on goal.

2. Solid to the Corey
Corey Crawford has continued to be a rock for the Blackhawk's net. He is now 5-1 in this playoff campaign, with a save percentage over .950 and a goals against close to one. It didn't look like he had to work too hard tonight, facing 21 shots, nevertheless he hasn't let the team down.

3. Howard did he fight for this one.
Didn't watch the game, but from the scoresheet it looked like Howard did his best to keep his team in the game. Howard stopped all 17 shots that he faced in the second period, giving his team the opportunity to come out strong in the third. Instead they allowed him to get peppered again for 18 more. Howard finished the night with 38 saves on 41 shots, a solid .927%, and unfortunately for him a big fat L.

Duds

1. Chicken Wings
Detroit kept the score tied at one through two periods, but really softened up in the third. They allowed two goals in just over three minutes, along with the empty netter to boot. They were completely dominated on the shot count in the final two periods, with 14 compared to 35 for the Blackhawks. Franzen and Kronwall both finished a team-worst minus-two.

2. Nightmare on the faceoff dot.
Despite scoring a goal and going plus-one in only nine minutes of play, Marcus Kruger was brutal in the faceoff circle going 0-11.

3. Saad face
I shouldn`t be too hard on a young player like Saad, but he saw his lowest ice time of the post-season tonight, at 13:57. Saad was a minus one in a 4-1 victory. The bright side? Looks like he's still playing with Toews and Hossa at even strength.

Edit: Just read Shakedown`s post in the series thread that Saad played well. Pretend that he didn`t. Thanks
