Moving a goalie
I have Anderson, Lundy, and Lehtonen as my goalies with Fasth on my farm team roster. It's daily changes, start 2, min. 3 starts per week. If Fasth ends up splitting time next year [or hopefully starting] it would be stupid for me to keep him on my farm team. There is not much interest in him, but plenty of teams in my league could use a solid starter.
Someone asked about the price for Anderson. Would this be asking too much?

Since your league has SV, you really need to keep goalies who are assured to be their full-time #1 goalies for next year.
I don't think Duchene/Read/1st/Grigs is a good return on Anderson.
Selling Anderson instantly loses you 1 category (SV) every week.
Duchene may make up for that loss a bit... he IS a significant upgrade on your C3/C4 in Briere/Killorn.
Is this a "keep-all" or partial keeper league?
With goalie cats worth almost 40% of your total cats, I'm inclined to keep Anderson and just dominate the goalie cats every week and look for cheaper offence. Having Duchene could be awesome but it's a steep price and I think Fleischmann is under rated. I would probably hold out and wait for Fasth to take the next step and then trade him or possibly trade Lehtonen if you were really desperate for offence.

I'm guessing it's a keep-all since it's a ''dynasty''. I do agree that dealing Anderson will hurt him significantly in SV. I guess it depends on the 1st round pick also, if it's a top5 pick it's a whole other story..Originally Posted by Pengwin7

I'd agree with the above that that's not nearly enough, especially after the season he had. With daily starts and sv's the value of goalies is probably huge in your league. I wouldn't move anyone unless you really need offence, but then you should target a top tier forward from a team that's desperate for a goalie.
Yes it is a dynasty and the pick is the 5th overall. I wouldn't be throwing away the saves category because I would promote Fasth to be my 3rd goalie. It is a risk for sure though because Fasth is still a a backup, but is now a good time to sell high on Anderson? A weak showing against the pens this series and a strong camp from Lehner next year could be all it takes to make Craig obsolete.

I don't think it's crazy to trade him for that haul. In fact, I would definitely do it. But this part is false in my opinion.

Fasth was very good this year, that is true.
But Hiller is also very solid... and better than Fasth.
Anaheim did so well - and Hiller wasn't there for ALL of it - that I think it sways us towards thinking Fasth could steal the job.
I'm not sure if that's true.
Fasth was good, but I honestly don't see him stealing this job from Hiller.
Maybe 30 starts, no more. (barring injury)
