    Default Memorial cup

Yeah Memorial cup starting this week !! LONDON, PORTLAND, HALIFAX, SASKATOON.

I post a poll and you can say why you think one or an other team should win this CUP !!!

Honestly any team here can win this CUP, but I take the Moosehead to win this one ! Fucale did an extremely good job for them, Drouin and MACK are all-star skilled, FRk seem to be a game breaker for them putting crucial goal.

    What is your pick ?
    Enjoy the show !

I'm cheering for the Moose but this could really go to just about any of them. Saskatoon obviously isnt as deep as the other three but Makarov has the ability to steal a game or two for them and really screw with the standings.

    Go Moose!

    I think Portland will win.

It is pretty exciting that Jones, Mackinnion, and Drouin are all in the Memorial Cup. Scouts are going to love it.

I agree, Portland is likely the team to beat. But these short tournaments make absolutely anything possible. It's such fun hockey!

Halifax should take it. They had an unbelievable season.

You're right it is really nice to see 1,2,3 pick of the year in the same tournament, we can add to this crop guys like Domi, Horvat, Zadorov, Fucale, Petan and Bjorkstrand ...

    enjoy the show !!

Saskatoon has had like two months off or something absurd like that. I hope to hell they don't win, quite clearly not on par with the rest of the teams.

One game wont make them sweat. They have their mind made up. Positional needs and geographical history makes Jones an easier pick for them.

Dont get me wrong, I am as big a Moose fan as you, but unless Jones goes out and breaks the law or does something completely insane, he's going first overall. Florida and TB are just as happy about that. No matter how you look at it, all three teams win here.

Agree completely! Jones go's first.(unless he is found to be on the tape with Rob Ford smoking crack), MacKinnon 2nd, Drouin 3rd and Barkov 4. That is pretty much a certainty at this point. Actually anyone of the top 6 get a special player this year. I'm pretty certain Lindholm and Nichushkin go 5, 6 one way or the other.

I agree he most likely goes 1st but if Nate Mac OWNS this tourny and leads Halifax to championship you can't tell me he doesn't get serious consideration.

My original comment was mostly tongue in cheek anyway. I'm not looking to debate who goes 1st overall because I don't claim to have any idea what Colorado is thinking.......but......if I was the GM of Colorado this would be a VERY difficult decision for me.

It will be a really tough choice for Colorado, and for me as well. I got the first choice OV in my league, who to take MacK or Drouin ? I will Probably grab the guys who will play with Stammer !

    Enjoy this Memorial cup !
