Doughty had a sweet one there too. They're just playing better and the Sharks are not getting enough quality chances or finding ways to bury it. They just need to get that monkey off their back and they could start scoring, but when they get mental about scoring, they can be a terrible team. Why the hell is Quick deciding to be so good again, when he played terribly against us this season?

Yeah, that was a ridiculous end to that game. Needless to say, I was pissed. Can't believe the took a 5-on-3 in the last minutes. So frustrating. The Sharks should have won, but the failed those last 4 minutes.

I'm not trying to be an a$$ here, but I found myself [as a NUCKS fan] saying those same words several times in the first round. Now SJ knows what that feels like.

SJ isn't out of this series if they don't panic and lose their heads. They split all their games with LA this year and each team held serve on their home court. SJ played a decent game and likely well enough to win [on the road]. Bring the same effort and consistency and they can wiggle their way back into this series. There's just so little to choose between these 2 that we're likely in for a lot of 1 goal hockey games.

At least they were both legit penalties. The trip on Stuart was obvious, and tough to argue the delay of game on Vlasic, despite the controversy of the rule.

Bizarre that the unlikely Dman goal scorers were in the box for the end of the game.


SJ looked good, hopefully they can win game 3, as this is a fun series to watch.

Fun to watch for who? lol. Amazingly, I do have my fingernails. I'm hoping going back to SJ makes a difference and they get on a roll there. They need it. We'll see. I'm trying to not lose hope, but I do find that there were more positives from this game and if they keep building on them and get better and better, they could still claw their way back in this and make it a 7 game wowzer.

Logan Couture went to the Sharks' dressing room after crashing into the boards.
Couture appeared to be favoring his left leg. It was not immediately clear if he would return.

It didn't look good. Commentators were speculating that maybe he cut his own leg with his skate blade. To me it looked more like his skate blade stuck in the groove at the bottom of the boards..........sprained ankle?
