I am in the latter stages of a rebuild and looking to consolidate my talent. Take a look at my roster and the rules in the links in my sig. If someone has issues with opening links, let me know and I'll post it.
The trade would be Coyle and Oulette for his Trouba... I have too many forwards and not enough quality defensemen. He wants even more than this but I should be able to get him to do this. Is it worth it? If not, who else should I go after?
I might lose one or two of my free agents, but still due to games played I will probably have to bring up Kreider, Coyle, Yak, Nyquist and Tatar and I don't have that many forward spots.
Any general advice would be awesome, and rep is a distinct possibility.

I'd rather trade Tatar over Coyle. But it's not a terrible trade.

The link wouldnt work for me (said the site was down for maintenance). That being said, he certainly values Trouba quite highly. Charlie Coyle is going to be one heck of a NHL hockey player so the fact he wants Coyle, Ouellet (I am assuming its Xavier) and more for him speaks volumes to his value of Trouba. Ouellet is no slouch himself although he will be well seasoned in the Detroit minor league system for some time before he really becomes an NHL asset.

Personally I think Coyle and Ouellet for Trouba is more then enough for him him. Trouba looks great himself but with Enstrom, Buff and Bogo there you really have to wonder how much he will contribute out of the gate.

I think its a solid offer by you and should be more then enough to land you Trouba. If it was me, I would hold at that offer and if he doesnt like it then I'd walk.

I wouldn´t even trade Coyle straight for Trouba.

2 years from now you will regret this trade as Coyle will be by far the best NHL player of that trade. Trouba has some offensive upside, but it looks like he´s so much better in the defensive zone, that he coule be used as a great lockdown defender with very moderate fantasy value. (many second assists and some power play goals)
