    Default Galchenyuk VS Seguin

In a keeper league with salary, counting G,A,PPP,+/-,PIM,BS

I really like galchenyuk and I think he is going to be a superstar in this league.
I really like seguin and I think he is going to be a superstar in this league.

I like Boston in that the +/- on the marchand/Bergeron/seguin line is always good, he has good corsi and PDO is around the norm. He had a really good sophomore year and I expected this year for him to break out a little more, was he tired from playing in Europe during lockout? I dunno, but he is not the superstar on his own team yet, and I don't know when he will be. He is having a tought time this year putting up points.

    Galchenyuk looks good. hah.

so seguin vs galchenyuk? who wins next year and beyond. Im thinking seguin next year, and galchenyuk in the future. But I am biased. Should I look to acquire galchenyuk in a package of some sorts and offer seguin?

Not a chance, keep Sequin. Try and land Galyanchuk but not for Sequin, think about how good your team would be with both.

I think this is spot on advice. Seguin is more proven and therefore worth more. No reason to sell low.

I agree, do not sell low Seguin for Gally. Galchenyuk is at may be 2 years to put 70 points on board. so it wiil be a 2 year regression if you do this trade.

I predicted 4 years to be near a PPG player, but dont expect much from him in Boston philosophy.

Oh...this is a good question. My gut says go with the guy who's established himself in the NHL but then part of me thinks Gally will be a stud sooner than later. Damn, tough one (not much help I know).

I don't think you can go wrong with either BUT I'll almost gurantee Seguin slays Galy in +/- for now and the next few years.

    Gally! Just a hunch.

However yeah, you should ask for a bit more if offering seguin or try something else to own both.

I love Gally, but this isn't close. Seguin should net you a lot more then Galchenyuk.

I don't see this as much of a discussiion at this point, Sequin is far more proven and the better assest. Sure Galy could be a piece in a deal for Sequin but not close to 1 for 1.

#1: I agree with the majority Seguin.

#2: I would NOT do Galchenyuk + for Seguin. Pretty simple trade philosophy - who ever gets the best player wins the deal. You add a piece you loose the deal. Trade other part(s) for Galchenyuk.

    Good luck with your dealing
