    Make either of these trades?

    Matt Read, Ryan Murray,27th overall

    Or

    1st overall plus Z Kassian
    For
    3rd Overall, Zibanejad, 59th overall.

Looking to compete now. If we say that first is Jon Droiun.

    1st overall

Keep the pick, and take Drouin. Then trade Drouin for much more than this next season, if you really feel it will help you win that season.

    1st overall plus Z Kassian
    For
    3rd Overall, Zibanejad, 59th overall.

This one is not as bad, essentially you move Drouin and Kassian. You get back Zibanajad, and Barkov or Jones, and a bonus pick. I would not want to move Drouin with all the hype, but this is very tempting.

So no on the first 1, and maybe on the 2nd.

If Drouin ends up playing with Stamkos, you're going to feel like an Ass. Keep the pick and don't compromise.

    Cool

I have won my keeper league in my signature the past two seasons, and I managed to acquire the 1st overall prospect pick going into next season. I'm definitely in win-now mode, but I'm not going to trade the pick -- unless it's in a package for someone SERIOUS.

There are basically two scenarios: 1) Draft Drouin and trade him next season for seriously high value when he's already playing with Stamkos.

    2) Draft Drouin and enjoy the ride.

From everything I've seen / read / heard about this kid, I'm leaning heavily toward the second option. If he lands in TB this could certainly escalate quickly, as they say.

You know I'm the commish of that league you're referring to right? LOL yes youve been a great GM...

So the general consensus is to hold the pick and see whether JD goes to Tampa. And if so draft him
